About the position
Arctic Bath is a modern, floating hotel located in the stunning natural surroundings of Harads in Swedish Lapland. We offer our guests a unique combination of relaxation, adventure, and gastronomy. The hotel features 12 rooms, a SPA, restaurant, and a range of seasonal activities.
Our restaurant is known for its innovative, creative cuisine and strong attention to detail and quality. We focus on delivering an exceptional dining experience that reflects the nature and traditions of the region. We are now looking for a passionate Chef to join our ambitious kitchen team.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Helping to maintain our high standards in cooking, presentation, and food quality
- Taking part in menu development
- Supporting the organisation of the kitchen and ensuring hygiene and safety guidelines are followed
- Assisting with stock and inventory management
Your background and skills:
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen environment
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food presentation, and flavour composition
- A strong interest in creative cooking and developing new dishes
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, with a positive attitude
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
