At Arctic Bath, the aurora can often be seen directly above the hotel, reflected in the river and framing the night sky above your cabin. In the right conditions- on clear, dark nights, this is one of the best places to witness it.
Your stay is designed to be effortless. From carefully prepared meals and restorative SPA with sauna rituals to the comfort of your cabin on or by the Lule River, the foundation of your experience is already taken care of. Northern Lights Tour
Hunt the Northern Lights at a private lake. Far away from city lights, you will be surrounded by beautiful nature, the perfect setting to see them. During this 2h activity, your guide will take you to the best nearby spot for Northern Lights viewing and share stories and knowledge about this natural phenomenon. You will also enjoy coffee or tea, and cake in a warm, cozy hut by the lake.
Aurora Dinner with Huskies
Experience an exclusive Arctic evening at a secluded husky lodge, where you are welcomed by friendly sled dogs and the glow of an open fire. Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared 3 course dinner or lunch featuring local flavours, while your host shares insights into the Northern Lights and life on a husky farm. Led by a nature photographer and aurora expert, the experience also offers an introduction to finding and recognising the Northern Lights. A curated slideshow of the host’s own aurora photography is included. As darkness falls, step outside beneath the winter sky for the opportunity to witness the aurora in an untouched landscape.
Northern Lights Horseback Ride
Join Ewa for a magical evening horseback ride in the golden glow of autumn. As dusk settles, you’ll ride through peaceful forests and open landscapes on calm Icelandic horses, with a chance to witness the northern lights dancing above. After the ride, you’ll gather around a warm fire for a cozy Swedish fika —something hot to drink, something sweet to enjoy and a peaceful moment to soak in the silence of nature and the wonder of the night sky.
The tour lasts about 2,5 hours including fika – available from September – October
