Fire & Ice Retreat

Over four days, guests are invited to slow down and reconnect through grounding yoga practices in the warmth of the lavvu tent, restorative spa experiences, nourishing dining, and moments of quiet reflection surrounded by nature. Inspired by the contrast between heat and cold, movement and stillness, the retreat offers space to awaken the senses, calm the nervous system, and return home feeling deeply restored.

Step into a journey of deep rest, renewal, and connection at the heart of the Arctic landscape. Guided by Petra Nilsson, Master Yoga Sweden,
this intimate Fire & Ice retreat at Arctic Bath combines yoga, breathwork, sauna rituals, cold immersion, and Nordic stillness to restore balance in body and mind.

Program 2026

19 NOV — Arrival & Grounding 
15:00 – Arrival, check-in, and gentle start.
15:30 – Welcome Ceremony with Petra Nilsson.
Welcome tea, coffee, and Nordic fika in the restaurant. Introduction to the retreat theme, the Fire & Ice journey, and intentions for the days ahead. 
16:00–17:15 – Gentle Yin Yoga and Meditation 
A grounding practice to soften the body, calm the mind, and settle into the Arctic surroundings. 
18:00 – Group Dining Experience


20 NOV — Fire & Ice: Awakening the Senses 
7:15 Silent Walk to Lavvu tent 
7:30–8:15 – Nordic Stillness -morning meditation & breathwork 
8:30–9:30 – Breakfast
10:00–12:00 – Julevädno: Sauna Ritual & Ice Bath – Introduction Experience
12:00–13:00 – Lunch
13:00–15:00 – Free time for rest, spa, or nature
15:00–16:00 – Flow & Release Yoga 
A gentle flowing practice focused on circulation, mobility, and vitality after sauna and cold exposure. Held in the warmth of the lavvu tent. 
16:30–17:30 – Sauna Gus – ritual with essential oils (3 infusions) – The Full Experience
18:00 – Group Dining Experience


21 NOV — Fire & Ice: Inner Stillness 
7:15 Silent Walk to Lavvu tent 
7:30–8:15 – Nordic Stillness -morning meditation & breathwork 
8:30–9:30 – Breakfast
10:00-14:00 - Sapmi Experience with Silba Siida including lunch
14:00–15:00 – Free time for rest, spa, or nature
15:00–16:00 – Deep Rest Yin & Nervous System Reset 
A grounding yin practice in the warmth of the lavvu designed to calm the nervous system and encourage deep rest after the Fire & Ice experience. 
16:30–17:30 – Sauna Gus – ritual with essential oils (3 infusions) –The Full Experience
18:00 – Group Dining Experience


22 NOV – Integration & Closing
8:00–9:00 - Integrative Yoga, Gratitude & Closing Reflection 
9:00-11:00 - Brunch
11:00 – Check-out
Optional self-guided nature walk or quiet reflection before departure.
