Let Dálvvás Sámi Culture Experience guide you through a summer adventure.
You’ll step into a traditional lávvu, a Sámi tent hut, and explore how the Sámi lived in harmony with nature. Inside the warm glow of the fire, you’ll enjoy northern delicacies like smoked and dried reindeer meat, homemade gáhkku bread, cloudberries, and lingonberry drink, flavors deeply rooted in the region’s culture.
Listen to stories of Sámi life, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of reindeer herding and traditional customs. You’ll also get a chance to try throwing a suohpan, the traditional Sámi lasso and test your skills on a reindeer antler target!
Please note: No reindeer are present from April to October as they are in the mountains during this time.
